YOLO Run

The Verztec team participated in YOLO Run SG 2017 held at F1 Pit Building on 11 November 2017.

The YOLO Run is a run event that encourages participants to seize the day and free themselves from labels, stereotypes, body types and inhibitions. Donations are made to the adopted beneficiary for every runner who runs shirtless.

Life Community Services Society Golf Charity 2017, Singapore

Verztec is pleased to be a donor partner for Life Community Services Society (LCSS) Golf Charity 2017 event. Held at the Warren Golf & Country Club on 4 August 2017 and graced by Guest-of-Honour Mr Seah Kian Peng, MP of Marine Parade GRC, the event raised $230,000 for disadvantaged children and youths.

Running Hour 2017, Singapore

The Verztec team participated in Runninghour 2017 held at Bedok Reservoir Park on 13 May 2017. Runninghour is the only race in Singapore where participants run alongside other runners with special needs in a joint effort to reach the finish line. Verztec joined the organisers in amplifying the message to promote understanding and nurture an inclusive Singapore for people with special needs.

St. Vincent Home, Singapore

During the Lunar New Year season, Verztec raised funds to purchase groceries and electrical appliances for the residents of St. Vincent Home. The CSR team also delivered the items to the residents personally and it was meaningful to see that the residents can enjoy another fruitful 2017 with the new items.

University-YMCA (Uni-Y) SMU ISP Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai

Verztec is happy to be a partner sponsor for Singapore Management University’s Overseas Community Service Programme trip to Chiang Mai last December.

Their project- University-YMCA (Uni-Y) SMU ISP Chiang Mai was organised in collaboration with the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA). Held from 4-19 December 2016, their project objectives were to develop and empower youths to make impactful contributions to the local and international communities. Accordingly, they worked with Ban Kad Wittayakom School, a local institution in Chiang Mai, to (i) upgrade the school’s existing facilities and (ii) improve the literacy standards of the students.

Life Community Services Society Golf Charity 2016, Singapore

Verztec was the proud sponsor of the Life Community Services Society (LCSS) Golf Charity 2016 event. Held at the Singapore Island Country Club New Course on 12 August 2016, and graced by Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mr Seah Kian Peng, the charity event successfully raised $300,000 to defray program costs and to support over 1000 beneficiaries of LCSS.

Run & Raisin 2016, Singapore

Verztec participated in the Run & Raisin' Charity Run organized by TOUCH Young Arrows (TYA).

This year, it aims to raise $250,000 to benefit some 570 needy children and families of TYA. In addition, Run & Raisin’ hopes to increase public awareness of TYA’s work in the community, as well as promote family bonding and a healthy lifestyle.

The funds raised will go a long way in helping TYA maintain the year-round activities and weekly programme with the children.

Therapy Box Making Workshop 2016, Singapore

Once again the Verztec team and 30 child beneficiaries of Life Community Services Society (LCSS) attended a Therapy Box Making Workshop on 28th May 2016. Every Verztec staff was partnered with a child to assist in helping them create a happy box that consist of images and items that makes the child happy. The children also brought home their very own Therapy Box.
